Kesia-Onam Bijoue Birch - GPPAC West Africa

Ms. Birch represents WANEP in its partnership with ECOWAS in the implementation of the Women, Peace and Security components of the ECOWAS Conflict Prevention Framework (ECPF). She also coordinates WANEP's  Nonviolence and Peace Education Program and supports its 15 National Networks in the implementation of peace education programs across West Africa. Ms Birch has over fifteen years' experience in women, peace and security as well as youth and peace education with strong flair for training, negotiation, mediation, facilitation, manual development and conflict analysis. She has vast experience in consultancy and has consulted for the AU, UNWOMEN and other International and Regional Organisations.  Ms Birch conceptualized and helped in the development of the Peace Education Manual for West Africa (2012) and the guide on developing and implementing National Action Plans (2012).
