Madad Foundation for Peace, Relief & Development (MPRD)

MPRD is a non-governmental organization (NGO), duly organized under the laws of Yemeni civil society law, motivated by its concern for the country’s conflict and poverty, affecting mostly women and children.

Madad Foundation for Peace, Relief, & Development (MPRD) strives for total human development by motivating people to utilize their own resources (time, talent and treasure) through awareness raising, capacity building, advocacy and services delivery initiatives on the grass-root level.

Particularly concerned about the Education Promotion, Health Improvement, Skill Development, Capacity Building, Youth Development, Peace-building, Democracy & Good Governance, Human Rights, Women Empowerment, Gender Development, Child Rights, Peace Education, Health, Education Campaign, Inter-faith Harmony and in Emergencies (Natural & human-made).

MPRD works to enhance the capacities of the beneficiaries so that they can realize their potentialities and can bring a positive change in their lives. In other words, it can be said that MPRD works not only FOR the people but WITH the people and BY the people.

Our mission is to work for the improvement of the plights of children, young people and women through information sharing, training, research, education and innovative early interventions; bridging the gap between theory, policy and practice.

Furthermore to provide access to primary education, health resources, prevent diseases, peacebuilding and promote development, in the social sector, through dynamic partnerships that build local capacity in efficient ways.
