Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at EMU

The Center for Justice and Peacebuilding (CJP) at EMU is an education, training and practice program. Currently celebrating 25 years, CJP offers professional education and training through Summer Peacebuilding Institute (SPI) and Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience (STAR) as well as two masters level graduate degrees and multiple graduate certificates. The program also partners with local organizations around the world to support and provide tailor-made educational programs. The faculty, staff, and students engage in local practice in the globally diverse community of Harrisonburg, Virginia and the wider Shenandoah Valley.
