GPPAC Regional Structure

RSG

The Regional Steering Groupis the highest-level decision-making body at the regional level. It is responsible for defining regional strategies, regional annual plans and for overseeing their implementation. The RSG is composed of appointed representatives from CSOs that form part of the regional GPPAC network, ensuring geographic representation. Meetings of the RSG are organised annually by the regional networks, and facilitated by the Regional Secretariat.

The Regional Secretariat serves as the primary point of contact in the region for both regional network members and the broader GPPAC network. It acts as the lead coordinating agency for regional activities. The host organisation for each Regional Secretariat is chosen through a regional process. The Regional Representative (RR) to the ISG and the Regional Liaison Officer (RLO), who are responsible for regional operations, are based at the Secretariat. Support to the Regional Secretariat is provided by Regional Coordinators based at the GPPAC Global Secretariat. The Regional Secretariat for South Asia is the Regional Centre for Strategic Studies in Colombo.
